My approach
My approach to photographing weddings is pretty relaxed, I like to just go with the flow and whatever happens, I’ll be there to capture it. I will take some images with a bit of light posing and guidance so I can get some beautiful creative photos of you both. I’m friendly and chatty a bit more like a guest than just some bloke with a camera. I do encourage people to come and ask me to take their photos after all that is what i’m there for, and this makes for a more varied and interesting set of images.
Capturing the moment
These are the moments that you may never even realise happened.
The story of the day starts well before the wedding ceremony.
Photographing Bridal Preparations gives us a glimpse into those often funny, sometimes anxious, but always important early moments of the day.
I love these moments, which are full of excitement and nervous energy. I grab candid and sometimes intimate moments that can be easily overlooked during all the madness. These mixed with portraits, detail shots of shoes, bags, bouquets, and of course the dresses, make for a great beginning to your wedding story.
Ceremony
Obviously the most important part of your big day! I’ll keep a low profile here and will capture all the wonderful little moments that make the ceremony so emotional and amazing photos
It’s all in the detail…
It’s also all about capturing the detail on the day, the things you have spent so long preparing the table decorations those personnel items that mean a lot to you.
Early reception & speeches
I always think this part of the day is underrated I love the photos and emotion you capture from people while they are totally relaxed. Capturing raw emotions
Couple shots
This is a great chance for you to take five and enjoy a little quality time together and make the most of the venue’s surroundings. Grab some bubbly and a couple of glasses for a nice wander around getting some lovely natural & lightly posed couple shots.
And some bits you might not want to remember!
I love to get right in the middle of everything that’s going on in the evening do, dancing, singing, drinking. I will try to capture all the atmosphere of the night as it unfolds. These images are great fun and are fantastic way to end the story of your big day!
